This week will begin the opportunity for parish-wide preparation for the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, according to the method of St. Louis Marie de Montfort. The 33-day preparation is for all in the parish who are interested either in first making the consecration, or in renewing theirs. Father invites all to undertake or renew this devotion by beginning the preparation on Tuesday, April 27, one day before St. Louis de Montfort’s feast. We will then make the consecration as a parish, for all who desire, on Sunday, May 30 after each Mass, one day before the feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Ash Wednesday Collection supports the evangelization mission of the Church in Arkansas. This includes providing priests, religious and lay personnel to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they serve among the people of our diocese who lack the financial resources to support fully the priests, religious and lay personnel who serve them.
